The artist Abdullah Hamas was born in 1953 in Abha. He was influenced by the support of his family, especially his father, for his talent from a young age. He studied at the Institute of Art Education in Riyadh in 1972, where his realistic and symbolic painting talent caught the attention of his Iraqi teacher, Salman Al-Dulaimi. He was influenced by various movements such as Cubism and Surrealism and artists including Georges Braque, Picasso, and Mondrian. He is considered one of the most famous visual artists in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world and a pioneer of abstract art in Saudi Arabia. He has held many solo exhibitions in various countries and won numerous art awards.
